Prime renewable oil and reducing CO2 emissions: Bio Fuel Systems is launching the industrial deployment of its technology

a time when the ecological footprint of companies Modern far exceeded the regenerative capacity of the planet, the breakthrough of Bio Fuel Systems (DBS) appears as a leading solution to eliminate industrial discharges of CO2 in the atmosphere, to fight against global warming and reduce our dependence overlooked oil reserves.

After 5 years of research conducted in close cooperation with the Universities of Alicante and Valencia, DBS has developed the first "energy conversion process fast track" that converts the excessive release of CO2 into an oil quality. This system is based on the combined effects of photosynthesis, light energy and organic properties of phytoplankton, mobilized as a powerful catalyst for a fuel similar to petroleum fuels and offering the same products (plastics, polymers ...) . Intensive cultivation of phytoplankton occurs in vertical photobioreactors from strains selected for their lipid content and that without taking on biodiversity.



On one hectare under a scenario optimum profitability, factory-type cleanup BFS / recovery is able to absorb 12,000 tonnes of CO2 per year and ensure continuous production and annually approximately 5500 barrels of oil, or 0.45 megawatts of electricity (the captured CO2 can be converted into electricity using turbines or internal combustion engines). During the transformation process, and multiple co-products with high added value, such as essential fatty acids (omega 3 or 6 ...) can also be extracted from the source of biomass obtained, thereby ensuring the profitability of a typical installation.

To produce a barrel of oil, BFS 2168 kg CO2 absorbs and neutralizes
finally 937 kg of C02 after combustion. Thus, taking into account the entire production cycle of the energy consumed at equal distance (100 km) and the same power (135 horsepower), a car running with the oil BFS is the only one with a balance carbon negative (- 48 kg of CO2), well ahead of the car traveling through the fossil oil (+ 19 kg of CO2) or the electric car powered with nuclear energy (+0.3 kg of CO2). In the upstream
downstream of the conversion process, DBS represents a major advance in capacity for depollution, yields per hectare of carbon, far exceeding the limits of environmental, economic and societal implications of biofuels for 1st and 2nd generation based on agricultural commodities.

The continuous production of oil BFS at a lower cost, quality of fuel received, its own character, inexhaustible and economically viable, offer a genuine response to the depletion of oil and a sustainable alternative to dependence on vis imports of oil and gas. The pilot plant
